As the 2008 hurricane season progresses and the tropical storm activity increases, we would like to offer our platform inspection services to your company.
We would like to become a first responder to provide all levels of inspection services, including NDT and Rope Access services in the event that we experience a major storm in the Gulf of Mexico this year.
We maintain a staff of 15 inspectors and NDT technicians, that are prepared to travel on short notice. We also work closely with companies that offer complete subsea and intervention services, providing data recording services for underwater inspections. If ROV services are necessary, we also work with companies that specialize in those services as well.
We can simultaneously perform Level I topside inspections, Rope Access inspections in hard to reach locations, and underwater inspections from the same vessel if requested by the client. In this manner, we are able to provide a complete assessment of the status of a structure, document any and all damage that may have occurred, and transmit this information back to shore prior to departing the work site.
Due to the design of our MIRRS inspection software, we are able to instantaneously generate complete inspection reports at anytime during an inspection, and transfer that information electronically to shore based company representatives. This unique ability would enable us to provide you with critical information regarding the status of a given asset, based on a real time damage assessment.
After a Hurricane, or substantial storm has passed, the MMS (Mineral Management Services) issues an NTL (Notice to Lease Holders) mandating the inspection of structures within the storm affected corridor. This “corridor” is determined by the intensity of the storm and the path it follows through the Gulf of Mexico.
We are able to provide a wide range of inspection services to cover any contingency, regardless of the extent of damages to a structure or component. We video record all visual inspections above water, including rope access inspections. We also offer real time video feed upon agreement with our clients to provide this specialized service. The authorized recipients would receive a password to our secure site, and would be able to observe the inspection as it progresses, and interact with the actual inspector or inspection team.
We would be glad to give you a presentation of our inspection software and protocol at any time or location that would be convenient to you. If you would like to view some sample reports, click on “sample reports ” link on the navigation bar, and click “view sample reports”. You will then be able to view some of our basic reports.
